Leisure Suit Larry VI Patch
This patch will correct two "Oops" errors that occur while playing Leisure
Suit Larry VI. One occurs on the beach after lighting the "Lamp of Wisdom".
The other will occur on the beach when trying to light the match.
Simply copy all the files on this disk into the directory where you installed
Leisure Suit Larry VI. For instance, if you installed Leisure Suit Larry VI
to the default directory called C:\SIERRA\LSL6 and you are copying this patch
from a floppy diskette in your A: drive, you could type the following at your
DOS prompt:
COPY A:\*.* C:\SIERRA\LSL6 <ENTER>
Once the patch has been copied to the game directory on your hard drive,
simply start Leisure Suit Larry VI as you normally would and enjoy the game!
SOUND CARD OWNERS: If you have a 16 bit sound card, please refer to the
README file in your game directory. If you have an 8 bit sound card such as
a Sound Blaster, Sound Blaster Pro, or Thunderboard, we have included an 8
bit version of the bonus WAV files on this patch. For 8 bit sound card
users: Go to the game directory where you just installed the patch
and type:
LSL6_SFX.EXE <ENTER>
The files will be extracted to your hard drive. You can then play these
files with the Microsoft Windows media player or other WAV file player.
